As a Claims Team Leader - Personal Injury, you will:

  • Supervise a team of PI Technical Claims Negotiators to ensure timely resolution of claims.
  • Support the delivery of the claims business plan and achieve SLAs.
  • Provide regular reports on KPIs and SLAs to the Head of Personal Injury Claims.
  • Handle complex claims and ensure potential fraudulent claims are identified.
  • Manage, motivate, and lead a group of handlers, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Assist in recruitment and training of new recruits and re-training of current employees.
  • Develop departmental procedures and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Consumer Duty principles and company standards.

The ideal Claims Team Leader - Personal Injury will have:

  • Extensive background working in motor personal injury claims.
  • Proven team leadership experience or an individual who has had some exposure to leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of FCA requirements and claims auditing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
