Debt Finance Associate

As a Debt Finance Associate, you will:

• Advise corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, and commercial lenders on complex debt finance transactions.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support acquisition loans, leveraged buyouts, and other financing matters.
• Draft and review corporate and financial transaction documents, including credit agreements and security agreements.
• Develop loan workouts and restructuring plans.
• Evaluate proposed finance transactions and provide advice on debt obligations.
• Conduct due diligence for international finance transactions.

The ideal Debt Finance Associate will have:

• A Juris Doctor or LL.M. degree, or foreign equivalent.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least four years of experience as an Associate in a Corporate, Debt Finance, or Finance practice group.
• Experience supporting corporate borrowers and lenders in complex debt finance operations.
• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and drafting transaction documents.
• Experience in loan workouts, restructuring plans, and due diligence.
