About the Role: A highly regarded law firm is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join its dynamic Transportation & Space group in New York. This team is at the forefront of innovative financing and transaction structuring in industries that drive global connectivity, including aviation, shipping, rail, and space.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on sophisticated transactions involving aircraft, railcars, ships, satellites, and other unique asset classes.

• Work closely with clients across various sectors, including investment banks, manufacturers, export agencies, lenders, lessors, equity participants, hedge funds, and other investors.

• Provide expert legal counsel on securitizations, structured financings, acquisition and leveraged financing, operating and leveraged leasing, and secured lending.

   

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Substantial experience in structured finance and related areas, with a focus on asset-backed and esoteric asset transactions.

• Background: Proven success in a large law firm or comparable legal environment.

• Education: Excellent academic credentials.

• Passion: A demonstrated interest in navigating complex, first-of-their-kind transactions in the transportation and space sectors.
