As a Private Funds Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Advising clients on the formation and structuring of private investment funds.
- Drafting and negotiating fund documents such as limited partnership agreements and private placement memoranda.
- Ensuring compliance with securities laws and other regulatory requirements.
- Providing ongoing legal support to fund managers and investors.
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing investment documents.
- Assisting clients with fund marketing and investor relations.
- Advising on secondary transactions and fund restructurings.
- Staying current with changes in laws and regulations affecting private funds.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals within the firm.
